Burunga

This is some exciting work we did through Generation Rise with the Barunga community. We collaborated with local youth and emerging artists to create a track called “BARUNGA”, which is a modern-day response to the historic Barunga Statement.

This project really captures the kind of impact and cultural work Generation Rise is leading, bringing together established and emerging First Nations voices, strengthening community pride, and empowering young people through music. It premiered live at the Barunga Festival 2025 and will officially release on 24th October 2025.
